Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the website of Shelby the Pet Nanny, LLC. By booking services with me or using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Services Provided

Shelby the Pet Nanny, LLC offers in-home pet sitting services including, but not limited to, drop-in visits, overnight stays, dog walking, feeding, administering medications, litter box/cage cleanouts, and general pet care. Additional home care services (watering plants, rotating lights, bringing in mail, etc.) may also be provided upon request.

2. Booking & Scheduling

  • All new clients must complete a complimentary Meet & Greet prior to scheduling services.

  • Services are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.

  • Holidays and peak times may require advanced booking.

3. Payment

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Accepted forms of payment: [insert payment methods Shelby accepts, e.g., cash, check, Venmo, PayPal].

  • Rates are subject to change. Clients will be notified of any updates in advance.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Daily drop in/Walks - For cancellations that occur within 24 hours of scheduled visits you will be responsible for the full payment.

  • Overnight stays - All overnight reservations will now require a 50% deposit at time of booking. Cancellations occurring less than 72 hours before first scheduled visit will forfeit the 50% deposit.

  • (This deposit can be made by Venmo or cash. Once received, the reservation will be confirmed.)

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must disclose all relevant information about their pets, including medical conditions, behavioral issues, and special care needs.

  • Pets must be current on vaccinations and free of contagious diseases.

  • Clients are responsible for providing all necessary supplies (food, medications, leashes, litter, etc.).

6. Emergency Care

  • In the event of an emergency, I will make every effort to contact you immediately. If I cannot reach you, I reserve the right to seek veterinary care at your expense.

  • Shelby the Pet Nanny, LLC is not responsible for illness, injury, or death of pets that occurs outside of reasonable control.

7. Liability

  • Shelby the Pet Nanny, LLC is fully insured; however, I am not liable for damage to property, lost/stolen items, or injuries to pets resulting from situations beyond my control.

  • I reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if a pet shows aggression or poses a safety risk.

8. Photos & Updates

  • Photos and updates are provided as part of my service. By booking, you consent to receiving updates about your pets.

  • With your permission, I may use photos of pets for business promotion (website, social media, brochures).

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to me. Personal information collected through this website or during booking will only be used for scheduling and providing services. I do not sell or share your information with third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

Shelby the Pet Nanny, LLC reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page.
