Hi, I’m Shelby – Your Pet Nanny!
Animals have always been at the heart of my life. From an early age, I was the kid who wanted to bring every stray home, and that love has only grown stronger over the years. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, goats, chickens, hamsters—you name it. For me, pets are family, and they deserve to be treated with the same love and respect as any member of the household.
My Background
Before starting Shelby the Pet Nanny, LLC, I worked nearly 30 years as a social worker. Caregiving is in my DNA, and making sure others feel safe, supported, and cared for has always been my calling. Eventually, I realized I could combine my professional skills with my lifelong passion for animals—and that’s how this business was born.

How It Started
I began pet sitting part-time a few years ago, and it quickly became clear that this was where my heart truly belonged. Today, I’m proud to provide professional, reliable, and compassionate pet care full-time for families across Wisconsin Rapids and surrounding communities.
My Promise to You
I’m certified in Dog & Cat CPR/First Aid and a proud member of Pet Sitters International (PSI). I believe in going the extra mile—whether that’s giving medication, staying overnight for comfort, sending photo updates, or sneaking in extra playtime and snuggles.
